BoWex-ELASTIC® HE3 / HE4 / HE-D

The coupling type BoWex-ELASTIC HE3/HE4 is a highly flexible flange coupling with SAE and special flange dimensions for mounting to I. C.-engines. The design is characterized by a mounting flange made of steel available in 16 coupling sizes and ten SAE flange sizes.

The mounting flange made of steel allows for reducing the elastomer thickness by 10 mm resulting in a severely compact design. The flange coupling HE3/HE4 is applicable up to a maximum operating temperature of 100 °C.

The combination with coupling hubs of the BoWex standard range allows for offsetting misalignment of driving and driven side. The flange coupling is assessed and approved for potentially explosive atmospheres acc. to EU directive 2014/34/EU.

Type HE-D is a special version with double arrangement of elastomers to double the torques. Differentiating between the respective type 3 and 4 results in an either compact or long version of the coupling.
