Fixed caliper brakes are executed as a two-sided actuator design. They can manage with few mobile parts. Fixed caliper brakes convince by low loss of power with a bigger air gap.

Overview: Passive fixed caliper brakes

The KTR-STOP fixed caliper brakes are composed of two brake halves with each half fitted with a spring set. The benefit is that the maintenance intervals for adjusting the pad wear can be increased compared to floating caliper brakes.

Depending on their size, these brakes are used as service, holding or safety brakes.
