According to the EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and the EU Council on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and the revised EU Directive 2012/19/EU, there is an obligation to organize and finance collection, treatment and disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with the before mentioned regulations. According to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) in Germany, every producer is obliged to create a reasonable possibility to return waste electrical equipment from users other than private households.

KTR Systems GmbH takes responsibility for its products and recycles them in a high-quality process once they have become waste. For devices that have been used commercially or in public facilities - so-called B2B devices - we have a return and disposal option ready for you.

Possibility of returning and disposing of old devices 

You would like to dispose of an electrical appliance purchased from KTR Systems GmbH correctly - you have the option to return it directly to us. Please contact your contact person in the sales department via the switchboard in order to initiate the return analogue to the goods return.

Personal responsibility with regard to the deletion of personal data

We explicitly point out that according to § 19a ElektroG you are responsible to delete any personal data on the appliances considered for disposal.

Meaning of the symbol for the marking of electrical appliances

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin on electrical appliances indicates that they must be collected separately and means that they must not be disposed of with household waste.
