Clamping sets

CLAMPEX clamping sets (clamping elements) enable backlash-free and frictionally engaged connection between cylindrical shafts without keyway and hubs.

The wedge-shaped components of the clamping sets that are shifted on top of each other via clamping screws generate radial forces ensuring friction fit between the shaft and the hub. This friction fit allows for simultaneous transmission of torque and axial force. The integrated clamping screws are used for clamping and releasing the clamping sets, depending on the type of clamping set.

CLAMPEX clamping elements are preferred, among other things, as an alternative to a feather key connection considering their benefits.

Clamping sets of KTR Systems:
Our range of clamping sets (clamping elements) includes external clamping sets, internal clamping sets (CLAMPEX self-centering or CLAMPEX not self-contering), clamping nuts and the rigid shaft coupling CLAMPEX KTR 700.
