The self-centering internal clamping set CLAMPEX KTR 206 is a backlash-free shaft-hub-connection. CLAMPEX KTR 206 is the compact alternative to CLAMPEX KTR 201.
The clamping element CLAMPEX KTR 206 allows for a backlash-free and frictionally engaged connection between cylindrical shafts without keyway and hub bores. The wedge-shaped components of the clamping sets that are shifted on top of each other via clamping screws generate radial forces which provide for friction fit on the contact surfaces of shaft and hub bore.
The integrated clamping screws of the backlash-free shaft hub connection are used for clamping and untightening of the clamping sets depending on the type of clamping set. Additional centering between shaft and hub is not necessary. During assembly the axial displacement of hub to shaft must be observed.
