Highly flexible intermediate shaft coupling with customised shaft distance dimensions (DBSE)
Type D2H is a highly flexible, non-slip and backlash-free intermediate shaft coupling for the use in main and auxiliary drives in mechanical and plant engineering.
The intermediate shaft serving for bridging large shaft distances is available in customised lengths.
Subject to its torsionally soft feature it serves for insulating vibrations and acoustics in the drive train.
Apart from transmitting the torque the coupling offsets axial, radial and angular misalignment and flexibly absorbs overloads.
Type D2H is axially screwable and available in eleven sizes.
The type is available in two materials - "NR" and on request "EPDM".
The maximum operating temperatures are 90 °C (NR) and 110 °C (EPDM).
Both hubs are available as type 1.0 (feather keyway and setscrew), 1.3 (spline toothing) and 3.1 (spline/clamping hub N).
The type allows for highly individual and flexible installation options, tailor-made for the special application.
