The passive floating caliper brake EMB-STOP XS-P-xx-F is an electric disk brake (shaft brake).

The electromechanical disk brake EMB-STOP XS-P-xx-F stands out thanks to its very fast response time. This makes it particularly suitable for use as an emergency.stop industrial brake.

The brake can also be simply vented manually; this means that in an emergency a load can be lowered carefully if the brake is accessible.

EMB-STOP as an emergency brake of safety brake:

The special model with a braking time of 14 ms is used for instance as an emergency brake or safety brake in special machines and textile machines.
