KTR France’s Carbon Assessment at: Towards a Reduction of our footprint!

In 2024, we conducted our first-ever carbon assessment based on 2023 data, as part of Bpifrance's DIAG DECARBON'ACTION program, to better define our environmental impact and guide our future actions. This initiative is part of our overall CSR approach, recognized by the LUCIE 26000 label from the LUCIE Agency, which reflects our commitment to acting responsibly and sustainably.

Results:

• 2,801 tCO₂e, equivalent to the annual emissions of 260 French people or 1,139 round-trip flights from Paris to New York.
• Our main emissions come from the purchase of goods and services (67%), end-of-life products (22%), fixed assets (4%), and distribution (3%).

This assessment is an essential starting point for identifying reduction levers. In this context, the actions already undertaken include:

• Optimizing business travel
• Extending the lifespan of IT equipment
• Encouraging the purchase of refurbished equipment
• Depreciation and non-renewal of equipment
• Eco-design of products sold (weight, recycled metals)
