KTR on kotonaan teollisuudessa. Pääkonttorin 480 työntekijän, 1.100 maailmanlaajuisen henkilöstön, 24 tytäryhtiön ja yli 90 myyntiedustuksen kanssa se on edustettuna kaikissa maanosissa
KTR on ollut DIN ISO EN 9001:2000 sertifioitu vuodseta1993 ja DIN ISO EN 14001:2005 sertifioitu vuodesta 2008.

- 2013 Opening of the TCC Training and Communication Center
- 2014 KTR Brake Systems GmbH founded in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock and Competence Center for Brake Systems is built
- 2015 The building of the new R & D centre with a multifunctional assembly hall measuring some 8,800 sq. m is completed in Rheine
