The brake caliper M-D is designed as a fixed caliper brake (hydraulic service brake). The active fixed caliper brake can be provided with adjustment of the air gap keeping the air gap and consequently the reaction time of the brake constant. The option to wear off the pads almost completely allows for long maintenance intervals while optimising the operating expenses.
