TOOLFLEX M

TOOLFLEX is a backlash-free, torsionally stiff and flexible all-metal coupling with a bellow made of stainless steel. Depending on size and type the coupling hubs are available made of aluminium or steel.

The metal bellow optimally compensates for axial, radial and angular displacements with conformal torque transmission and low restoring forces. At the same time TOOLFLEX has a high torsional stiffness and a low mass moment of inertia. It is free from wear and maintenance and extremely easy to assemble.

The torque is transmitted to the hubs via a metal bellow made of stainless steel. The connection of the bellow to the hubs is made in three different types: With sizes 5 to 12 the metal bellow is bonded to the hubs. For that reason the maximum permissible temperature range is from - 30 °C to + 100 °C. With sizes 16 to 55 the bellow is crimped with the hubs and secured by a brass wire pressed in. This ensures torque transmission of every single bellow layer. The bellow-hubs-connection sizes 55 and 65 is made by a welded connection.
