ROTEX® GS HP (high-performance coupling) is a three-part, backlash-free high-speed coupling.It was developed to the highest standard for applications with high speeds.

Due to its closed design the high-speed coupling generates a minimum of air turbulence resulting in low noise even with exteme load. The ROTEX GS HP (high-performance coupling) is available in different hub types for various mounting conditions.

The ability for axial plug-in combined with various hub geometries results in a compact coupling system easy to assemble with high torque density.

Our ROTEX GS servo couplings are torsionally stiff shaft couplings soft in bending serving as a connection element between drive unit and measuring sensor.

They transmit the torque free from backlash and conformally. This makes our backlash-free shaft couplings highly accurate. They also allow for simultaneous compensation of radial, axial and angular displacements. Thanks to the high variety of coupling types and hub designs we are able to supply the right coupling for almost every application.

Backlash-free condition of ROTEX GS servo coupling:

Apart from the jaw geometry of the coupling hubs, zero backlash of the ROTEX® GS backlash free servo couplings (elastomer couplings) is largely based on the geometry of the ROTEX® GS spiders. They are designed in that the convex teeth of the spider fit the concave jaws of the coupling hub under prestress. Combined with the straight spline there is low surface pressure and higher stiffness of the coupling system.

The flexible spiders of our servo couplings are available in five different kinds of Shore hardness. This allows to easily adapt the coupling to the individual conditions of an application considering the torsion stiffness and vibration characteristics.

The teeth of the spider absorb the displacements und are radially supported in the internal diameter by a web. With strong accelerations or high speeds this prevents too high internal or external deformation. The permissible ambient temperature depends on the spider's Shore hardness.
