The design of our safety couplings is based on backlash-free, positive-locking ball engagement principles allowing for high repeatability and shaft reaction times through the entire service life.
In case of overload the ratchet components (balls) of the safety coupling leave their indentations generating a relative movement between driving and driven side. In this way the safety couplings prevent damage caused by overload reliably.
An optional limit switch provides a signal for control operations or can be used for switching off the drive.
