The torsionally flexible POLY-NORM ADR-SB is a shaft coupling combined with ta brake disk. The POLY-NORM type ADR-SB is used for disk brakes as a holding brake.

With this shaft coupling the elastomer ring, brake disk and driving flange can be replaced when mounted. This allows for radial disassembly.

Specifications for: POLY-NORM® ADR-SB

The POLY-NORM® shaft couplings are characterized by their compact design. The torque is transmitted via elastomers between the cams that furthermore serve for compensating for displacements and damping shocks and torsional vibrations.Applications of our torsionally flexible, fail-safe shaft couplings:The POLY-NORM shaft couplings are used in almost every range of mechanical engineering, mainly in the pump industry (pump coupling).Component variance of fail-safe shaft coupling:High adaptability with low variance by an optimally graded construction kit system: The elements of the POLY-NORM® shaft coupling within one size can easily be combined with each other. This allows to realize various shaft distances with the same basic component.

Function of fail-safe shaft coupling: The POLY-NORM shaft coupling consists of two hubs the cams of which are each put in the tailor-made clearance of the other hub by half.This compact design of the shaft coupling allows to connect the shafts with a particularly short shaft distance dimension. The elastomer arranged between the cams transmits torques while compensating for any kind of displacement.
