ROTEX couplings from KTR are used on passenger, cargo and work ships all over the world. Each coupling is developed, built and approved in accordance with the rules of an acceptance society and the respective classification rules.
The torsionally flexible shaft couplings have now been certified by the classification societies Lloyd's Register (LR) and Korean Register (KR) and provided with type approval certificates with regard to the LR and KR requirements for marine applications.
Certified ROTEX couplings for the shipping industry
In addition to the new certificates from Lloyd's Register (LR) and Korean Register (KR), KTR also has approvals from the following classification societies for the ROTEX series: Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritas (BV), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Class NK and GOST R/GOST TR.
