KTR Brake Systems GmbH
In 2014, we set up KTR Brake Systems GmbH and opened the KTR Competence Center for Brake Systems in Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock, Germany. This was a critical step to ensure our brakes are the most effective. In addition to brake component development and design, the Center also performs extensive functional tests on the KTR-STOP® and EMB-STOP model ranges, such as using a special low-temperature environmental chamber which allows tests in environmental temperatures down to –50°C to be carried out.

Anything which moves must also be able to brake. In line with this slogan, we first revolutionized the hydraulic brake and then tripled the power spectrum of electromechanical brakes. With the hydraulic KTR-STOP® and the electromechanical EMB-STOP, KTR is one of only a handful of manufacturers worldwide to offer its clients two different braking systems.
