The last few weeks have been a very trying period. Everyone’s way of life has been drastically altered, at work and at home.
It’s been no exception here at KTR UK. With nearly all staff working from home, our work patterns and means of communication have also changed. The current routine involves frequent online meetings via MS Teams, with multi-chat video conferencing, file and screen sharing, texting and lots of banter! A big thanks to all our friends in I.T. for helping to keep us going!
As a manufacturer of flexible couplings for power transmission, our products are involved in many critical applications in key facilities across the country. As such we are committed to maintaining our supply to these vital industries, and this includes our parent company in Germany, KTR Systems GmbH. Production and logistics continue as before, but with altered staff processes and procedures to ensure the maximum possible level of safety. We are shipping over 800 parcels per day and another big thanks goes out to the whole company for working together and finding solutions in these difficult circumstances.
Here in the UK, we’re getting on with the job as best we can, finding new ways to stay effective. We want all our customers to know that we are, as much as possible, carrying on with “business as usual” and we’re available to help via telephone, email, Microsoft TEAMS and Skype video calls as well.
We’ll keep everyone updated as much as possible as things progress. In the meantime, let’s all take care and stick together.
