Bearing of the joint heads is made by plain bearings with joints type X and XD limiting the maximum permissible speed to 300 rpm. The maximum diffraction angle per joint is 45°.
The precision joints type X and XD are made of stainless steel and thus corrosion-resistant. Precision joints in an extendable version are able to offset axial displacement in addition to angular and radial displacement.
