The brake caliper XXL-xxxx-F is designed as a floating caliper brake providing for the benefit of being mainly free from axial forces as far as the brake disk is concerned. Even in case of misadjustment or an error with the installation a damage on the drive train is prevented in this way. The use of guide rings and the option to wear off the pads fully allows to permit long maintenance intervals and optimize the operating expenses.
This brake is a typical stop brake used on mill applications. All features of this brake are aiming at operating reliably even under extreme environmental conditions while generating low operating expenses subject to its design.
The choice of material and design of the caliper make the brake look good even with low temperature conditions.
