Oil-air cooler for mobile machinery

In contrast to the renowned standard OAC coolers, the new version supplied without feet and do not have three, but only two fittings (G1/2" und G1/4"): The largest connection with a G1" fitting is omitted, since it is rarely used in mobile hydraulics, where flow rates are lower.

This streamlined design saves weight as well as manufacturing effort and production costs. One reason for this is the manufacturing and assembly of cooling elements and housings in KTR’s own production plant in China. This means that only the fan drive remains to be assembled at the KTR assembly plant in Rheine.

Cost-optimized in production, for a price in line with market conditions

We definitely did not save on the cooling capacity: the cooling elements remain unchanged. The key added value of the OAC family continues to benefit the customer: usual quality, reliable support and short delivery times thanks to stock availability from Germany.

The new cooler is available in three sizes with cooling capacities from 2 to 15 kW and an oil flow rate from 5 to 165 l/min. With fan drives the user can choose between a 230/400V motor with 50 or 60 Hz, a 12V/24V motor or a hydraulic motor. The entire series is designed for easy maintenance providing good cleaning options.

With the OAC LightVersion, manufacturers of mobile machinery now have access to a compact and high-performance series of coolers for hydraulic, gearbox, lubricating and motor oils as well as for water-glycol mixtures which can also be easily retrofitted if thermal bottlenecks arise.
