KTR Systems builds new exhibition hall at the headquarters in Rheine

On 3 May 2022, the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony for the new exhibition hall at the KTR headquarters in Rheine took place. Together with the owner Dr. Mareike Tacke, the managing director Nicola Warning, the chairman of the advisory board Prof. Dr. Josef Gerstner and the project manager Katharina Freckmann, all KTR, as well as representatives of the architectural office aib from Duisburg and the construction company Rosendahl from Rheine, this marked the official start of construction.

The "KTR Exhibition Centre", KEC for short, with an area of about 750 square metres will be used in many ways: as an exhibition space for exhibits, for receptions and meetings, for podcasts, interviews and information events, but also as a meeting place for the KTR staff with a kiosk and terrace. Commissioning is planned for the end of March 2023.

"In the past two years, the pandemic has disruptively changed our sales work and the contact with our customers and employees. This has been a concern for us," says KTR Managing Director Nicola Warning. "The result is a multifunctional building that provides a new platform for digital and analogue communication. Classic trade fairs are increasingly giving way to in-house trade fairs, podcasts are becoming more popular as a new information format and employees are developing higher demands on their working environment in times of a shortage of skilled workers and home offices. Above all, customers and dealers today only pay visits to manufacturers when informative, professional and expert discussions can be held; for this exchange, the right setting and the right presentation are needed. With the new exhibition hall, we will gain significantly in this respect and, through the activities there, we will be able to generate the right content for communication to customers, employees and stakeholders."
