The KTR-SI FRA is a idle rotation overload coupling with automatic re-engagement that reliably uncouples the drive train in the event of overload, thus protecting against expensive damage. Due to its low-backlash, positive-locking ball engagement system, it separates the driving and driven side in a lightning speed. After eliminating the overload the KTR-SI FRA can automatically be re-engaged by reversing the direction of rotation at low speed.
This feature makes them ideal for hard-to-access mounting situations and use in harsh conditions. With an adjustable overload range of up to 3,000 Nm, the KTR-SI FRA is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications:
