KTR Couplings Ltd is looking forward to its first showing at All Energy - the UK’s largest renewable energy event Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday the 24th of May at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Each year All Energy plays host to the complete range of sustainable technologies covering each of the major renewable industries, offering a great opportunity for KTR to show its own range of products well suited to the requirements of the UK’s renewable energy sector. KTR will be exhibiting a full scale example of its RADEX®-N GFK wind coupling alongside other examples of KTR products for wind energy applications. Oil/air coolers, rotor locks and brakes will also be on display, as well as KTR’s DATAFLEX® - a contactless torque measuring shaft ideal for monitoring torque loads involved in wind turbine operations. KTR will also be showing its range of ROTEX® and RIGIFLEX® shaft-to-shaft couplings, both well suited for renewable energy applications. KTR’s ROTEX® jaw coupling is already playing a significant role in marine renewables, providing a versatile and reliable solution to the continuing design challenges faced in the development of UK wave, tidal and underwater energy technologies. Stop by stand G69 to see the latest in power transmission technology for the renewable energy sector and receive a free Euro 2012 football wall chart! 09.05.2012 / KTR UK |

The 2012 Couplings and Drives Show has come and gone and KTR Couplings Ltd can report on another successful showing. This year’s stand attracted interest from a variety of new visitors. Some stopped in to see a BoWex® FLE-PA coupling in situation between the diesel engine and pump of our on-stand power-pack display. Others simply dropped by for a coffee looking to catch up on the latest innovations in the world of power transmission. Visitors were also able to view large size ROTEX®, BoWex®, GEARex® and RIGIFLEX® couplings as well as a range of mid-size and miniature couplings for comparison. There was also a good amount of enquiry regarding the impressive OAC 900, which drew the eye of passers-by travelling between the neighbouring MACH and IFPEX shows. Once again there was great interest for our Euro 2012 wall-charts, offered free in exchange for a business card. The consensus for England’s hopes this year was mixed. KTR Couplings Ltd would like to thank all visitors to the stand for stopping by and looks for ward to continuing the many new relationships made over the three day event. |

KTR is excited to announce the launch of its very own mobile phone application. The new app features a quick select guide for seven of our most popular couplings accompanied by specific product information for each coupling. The app also contains a list of standard IEC motors sizes and outputs, with adjustable modes between 1500 and 3000 nominal rpm, which can be easily scrolled through to help select the appropriate coupling design and size for the job. The new app represents a desire by KTR to combine its tradition of high quality products and service with the technology of the modern high-tech business world. The app is available to download from the iTunes App store or at www.ktr-stop-and-go.com where you will also find information on two of our latest innovations: KTR-STOP® and T-PUR. 12.05.2011 / KTR UK |

KTR Couplings is happy to report on another successful showing at the Drives & Controls exhibition held recently at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. Drives & Controls is regarded as the premiere show for what’s happening within the motion engineering, automation and mechanical power transmission sectors making it the perfect stage for KTR to present some of its latest innovations to the industry. Visitors to the stand showed great interest in new offerings such as a spider element knitted entirely from wire but also in more established products like the Rotex ZS-DKM. The double cardanic design of the ZS-DKM, including a spacer capable of handling up to 250mm shaft distances, makes it the ideal choice for applications involving high shaft displacements and for this reason continued to generate a great deal of inquiry at the show. Showcasing new and innovative products in combination with the effective lure of a newly designed exhibition stand issuing World Cup chart give-aways meant a busy show for the KTR team. Many new contacts were made along side visits from some of the more familiar faces of the industry. The success of this years exhibition has already lead to KTR planning its return to the event in April, 2012 and we look forward to seeing everyone there in two years time! 07.07.2010 / KTR UK |
