1959            Foundation of KTR Kupplungstechnik GmbH as a subsidiary of the F. Tacke GmbH & Co. KG.
                    The reason for the foundation was the development of the maintenance-free BOWEX® curved-tooth
                    gear coupling® on the basis of the patented F. Tacke GmbH & Co. KG all-steel-curved-tooth
                    gear coupling®.

1966            First prototype of the torsionally flexible ROTEX® jaw-type coupling

1982            Foundation of the first KTR subsidiaries in Switzerland and in Japan

1982-2008  Foundation of further 17 foreign subsidiaries in Europe, America and Asia

1992            New building for KTR administration

1996            Foundation and set up of steel tank production in Poland 
                    Extension of the F. Tacke GmbH & Co. KG production

1998            Start of SAP R/3 for company-wide solutions

2003            Building of KTR Logistics Center

2008            Extension of the Logistics Center by 100 %
