KTR couplings are indispensable in pump technology. As almost every pump drive requires a coupling compensating for shaft misalignment and reducing vibrations that cause problems. The perfect coupling can have a major influence both on the service life of the pump and the operating costs.

KTR can offer you an extensive product portfolio for all types of pumps, either fluid or gaseous media, for vacuum pumps, mobile and stationary compressors. Our range covers flexible and torsionally stiff couplings with and without spacer, for universal applications and for particularly difficult ambient conditions. As an addition to our extensive standard range of products we develop thousands of customised solutions every year.

Product management for the pump industry

For customers requiring qualified, individual support and advisory service, we have a group of dedicated product managers for the pump industry. As a result of this, we not only offer consultation but also detailed support with the selection of the correct coupling, by our experts. As an example, KTR’s test bench is available for the testing of entire drive systems. KTR’s international presence in every main industrial market assures that the users throughout the world get immediate support whenever necessary.

Safety is part of our programme

In our R & D centre we simulate, amongst others, the torsional vibrations that are particularly important for pumps and compressors. Our in-house software ensures a safe selection of the couplings. KTR couplings correspond to the stringent requirements of the pump industry, in particular API 610, 671 and 685, and are provided with full certification in accordance with ATEX 95.
